The breakfast was absolutely superb and there was a wide range of excellent food.

The hotel offers incredibly comfortable rooms with tall windows, comfortable bed and a big refrigerator. The breakfast is superb with a wide range of dishes. Everyone who works in the property is exceptional and exceptionally kind.

guesthouse lago di nicito was a pleasant surprise - staff were friendly and the room was spacious and modern. the location was peaceful and only a short walk to the main street, with beautiful bellini park along the way.

The service was excellent, and we enjoyed a superb breakfast as well as immaculately clean rooms with tall windows and a big table; the food was fantastic with a variety of choices.

We loved the perfect location, just a few minutes away from the center street, with plenty of grocery stores, bars, and restaurants nearby. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Etna from the balcony. The air conditioning, extra blankets, and pillows ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The shared kitchen was a convenient feature, and we appreciated the lack of noise from outside. we highly recommend this lovely guesthouse.

Drawbacks: we did encounter a few minor drawbacks. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the floors were not 100% clean.

Check-in was simple, with convenient nearby parking, spacious rooms with a large table, cozy beds, and friendly staff.

a great stay at this fabulous guesthouse where I could explore the city on foot. The breathtaking view of the historic streets was a highlight. The interiors were unique and refined. I enjoyed the Italian breakfast at a nearby cafe. The nearest airport was convenient. Only downside was the noisy traffic outside.

We had a lovely stay at Guesthouse Lago Di Nicito. the room was clean, cozy, and had modern amenities. Federico, our host, was extremely helpful and provided excellent restaurant recommendations and sightseeing suggestions in Catania. the location was convenient, close to attractions and easy to get to from the airport. the daily cleaning service was a nice touch, keeping the room fresh and towels changed. everything exceeded our expectations and made for a great experience.

The room had everything I needed, it was clean and comfortable. the air conditioning worked well, which was a relief considering the heat outside. the location was great, just a short walk away from the city center. This meant I could avoid the noise from the main streets and still easily explore the city. There was also a common room with a kitchen, which was convenient for cooking. the breakfast at the nearby bakeries was delicious, with a variety of Italian pastries and drinks to choose from.

The noise from the cars outside was quite loud, so I had to keep the windows closed at night. the hair dryer in the room was not very powerful and could use an upgrade.

We chose Guesthouse Lago Di Nicito due to its convenient location near the attractions we wanted to visit, particularly Giovanni Verga's House Museum. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi provided by the hotel. Additionally, we really enjoyed the complimentary local cuisine breakfast served daily from 7 AM.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse for a few days in Catania. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us great tips and suggestions. The room and facilities were beautiful, modern, and clean. The location was ideal, with main attractions within walking distance. We even received free water bottles and coffee. a fantastic experience!
